Browning a5 problems.

I have a 1967 browning A5 that has a feeding problem. It is trying to feed 2 shells at a time. One is in the chamber and the next one gets stuck in the action. I have stripped it completely and given it a good clean. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem would be appreciated. Regards. Hilux. Like.
