Synopsis. The story of "The Jungle Book" concerns an orphaned small boy named Mowgli. The movie starts off with an anthropomorphic black panther named Bahgeera trekking across a rain-forest in India. One day, he comes across an abandoned ship-wrecked boat, finding a small baby whose parents died is seen in the basket.The Bandar-log are a group of monkeys that kidnap Mowgli because they want him to be their leader. The Bandar-log is the only group of animals that doesn’t abide by the Law of the Jungle. He also serves as a teacher to Mowgli on a few occasions, teaching him about animals who flee from drought and showing him how to defeat the invading dholes by luring them over Bee Rocks.
