That being said, I have a regular JRA M14 and I wouldn't trade it for one of the welded ones. I think the real M14 heal is cool for a collector, but as a shooter I like the solid, one piece forging of my receiver. It's gorgeous, but when I try to "rock and lock" the factory Checkmate Industries 20 rounder in — it doesn't go in nice.
