Unplug the FPR wires and try to start it. It will make the CP3 work at 100%, and create 100% rail pressure. It will lope hard if it starts, But it's an idea. Or you can try to pressurize the tank with about 10psi and try starting the truck. It may help the CP3 prime itself.

Change the fuel filter often, the Duramax fuel system is fed by suction from the fuel tank and the slightest filter plugging will starve and overwork the fuel pump. The newer 17 models finally use a fuel boost pump to correct the starve issue. I know I'm a little answering this, but thanks to all for the advise.So, I picked up the truck this morning from the dealer and it started fine. Went home, parked for about 30-45 mins, went back out. I rebuilt the primer on the fuel filter housing and replace the bleed screw on the filter housing. That fixed my problem.
