They have to stay within parameters of the agreement and differences will not vary between brands since both are under the same legal restraints. Thinking of ditching my P290RS and looking for something similar in size. I looked at the P938 and Kimber Micro 9. The Sig is smaller in dimensions but the Kimber fits the hand better. The only practical solution here is to buy a few Springfield 911 mags for the 238 and a Kimber Micro .380 for the spare mag you have. The way the base juts forward (left, in the picture below) provides a perfect rest for my pinky finger, and also tends to jam my fingers closer together when I squeeze the grip. Went with the Micro 9. My buddy has the P938, likes it as well. The Sig has an external extractor and two-piece guide rod, but otherwise they are the same gun other than aesthetics.
