I had no installation problems, and the fit was the same as before. However, I would recommend looking for where the forearm is going to brush against the barrel as it recoils.

His gun is sort of unique in that it’s got Speed Load but uses the old Carrier Spring. That only occurred 1953-57.Problem solved.
