if you missed out grabbing the covenant in the Undead Settlement b4 you killed the Curse-Rotted Greatwood, then you are SoL until NG+ or you make a new character to get the covenant. short of doing either of these. you can always try farming the shackles from the catacombs. some of the skeletons have a small % chance to drop them.Do pvp, go to the area after pontiffs boss room and set down your red sign soapstone then you will get summoned by someone and you will duel, if you win you get a shackle.
