If you look really carefully at the blade ally wording you will see that it says you get the effect of a property rune, and that effect doesn't say that it interacts with regular property runes in any way.Both champions swapped to 2nd fighter and druid and party dpr, and effectiveness, shot right up. Champion suffers same issue as most martials in pf2e. Fighter exists and is very powerful. Often better just playing fighter. Bizarrely, fighter can get free shield raises at level 12. Afaik, Champion needs to wait until level 20 for that ability.Fighters are able to protect allies fairly decently with opportunity attacks and shields up. Ironicly, flickmace + shield is a fine tank build. Summoners are able to get in the way, threaten space, and have a pretty decent HP*AC pool.
